Hitler facts!


  1. In 1877 Adolf Hitler's father- Alois Hitler- changed his family's surname from Schicklgruber to Hitler.
  2. Hitler suffered from flatulence... he had to take 28 different drugs to help prevent it.
  3. When he was 4 years old a priest saved him from drowning.
  4. Strangely, Hitler was nominated, in 1939, for the Nobel Peace Prize! 
  5. Hitler considered himself attractive... it stands for debate...
  6. When he was a child, Hitler wanted to be a priest.
  7. In 1939, the nephew of Adolf Hitler wrote an article titled: "Why I hate my uncle."
  8. Hitler only had one surviving sibling: Paula Hitler (1896- 1960)

  29. Hitler enjoyed attending the opera.
  30. Hitler hated sports but managed to help organise the Olympics held in Berlin.
  31. He had an affair with his niece who then committed suicide aged barely 23.
  32. He won 'Man of the Year' for the times magazine.
  33. By the age of 18, Hitler was homeless and an orphan.
  34. His father was 51 years old when Hitler was born.
  35. Adolf Hitler took photographs whilst practising speeches.
